Our founder, Jason, is not just a mechanic. He’s a lifelong automotive enthusiast with a deeply rooted history in the world of car repair. As a young teenager, his curiosity led him to work on his personal vehicles, which later became an obsession. By the time he was 20, he had already started working for an independent auto shop. But Jason didn’t stop there. While working full-time, he further honed his skills by attending a night school dedicated to automotive repair.
In 2009, Jason’s journey took a significant turn when he co-purchased an auto shop in Ann Arbor. This venture allowed him not only to explore deeper into the intricacies of automotive repair but also to master the art of business and customer service. For nearly a decade, Jason thrived in Ann Arbor. However, in 2018, he felt the pull of home and the desire to be closer to his loved ones. Selling his share of the business, Jason returned to Waterford to be nearer to his fiancé, Chelsea, and her son, Tannor.
Automotive Solutions is more than just a business for Jason; it’s an embodiment of his dedication and love for the craft. Problem-solving and hands-on work have always been second nature to him, making the auto repair domain a perfect fit. Each day, he finds immense pleasure in ensuring the safety of his customers on the road and delivering top-notch service. Owning a shop in his local community of Waterford is a dream come true, allowing him to play an active role in supporting fellow local businesses.
